THE FEAST OF CHRIST’S REIGN: Sermon by graduating student Claire Repsholdt; Pastor Tim Keyl of Bethesda Lutheran Church to preside

This week (November 18-22) Marquand Chapel celebrates a season of Kingdomtide. All five services will celebrate the reign of Christ and be grounded in scriptural images of God’s Kingdom. Services will draw on texts like the parables (“The kingdom of heaven is like…”), Matthew 25 (“inherit the kingdom… for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink…”), the Lord’s Prayer (“May your kingdom come”), and descriptions of God’s kingdom in apocalyptic literature (“Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst”).
